InDepth Creative worked with PRTY to develop a new visual direction for their live events moving forward, with the project first being explored through their show at O2 Academy Glasgow.
As one of Scotland’s fastest-growing hard dance brands, PRTY wanted to create a production identity that felt instantly recognisable, high-impact and scalable across different venue sizes.
The brief was to move beyond a standard club lighting setup and create a visual language that could become part of the PRTY brand itself.
The Reactor Concept
The chosen direction was PRTY Reactor - a circular stage and lighting concept designed to frame the DJ, create a strong central focal point, and deliver a bold visual identity for both the live audience and social media content.
The concept was built around:
A central circular visual structure
High-impact beam looks
Strong white and colour contrast
A symmetrical stage composition
A scalable design language for future PRTY shows
A layout that could support crowd interaction and on-stage energy
The circular form tied closely into PRTY’s existing visual identity, while giving the show a distinctive centrepiece that could be recognised across different venues and event scales.
Adapting the Design for O2 Academy Glasgow
As the show moved from concept into production, the design was adapted around the final venue, available production infrastructure, supplier availability and the delivery timeline.
For a live show of this scale, creative ambition has to be balanced with safe and reliable delivery. Rather than forcing a design that would compromise build time, rigging, crew requirements or usable stage space, the final production route was refined to suit the venue and the show.
This allowed the core Reactor identity to remain in place, while ensuring the final setup was achievable, safe and practical for the event.
Lighting, Stage Energy and Crowd Interaction
A key part of the final show design was maintaining the feeling of energy around the DJ while still allowing the stage to feel alive.
The lighting design used strong beam architecture, haze and high-impact movement to create a powerful hard dance environment. The circular centrepiece gave the show a clear visual anchor, while the surrounding beams and stage layout helped extend the energy out into the crowd.
The final setup also allowed for crowd and performer interaction around the stage, which was an important part of the brief.
Visual Content and Show Atmosphere
